Advocating Together provides dedicated advocacy support to help parent carers navigate complex systems and ensure their voices are heard in decisions affecting their children. This includes supporting families to understand their rights, prepare for meetings, communicate effectively with professionals, and challenge decisions where necessary. Particular focus is given to more complex and challenging cases, where specialist knowledge and structured support can make a significant difference to outcomes. By offering accessible, person-centred advocacy, Advocating Together ensures that families can take part fully in the decision-making processes and secure the support their children and young people need.

Advocating Together is part funded by The National Lottery Community Fund through the Awards for All programme. This funding supports the development and delivery of the dedicated advocacy service for parent carers. Helping to ensure that families can access timely, high-quality support – often at little or no cost – when navigating complex systems and enabling Advocating Together Ltd to provide accessible support to families, especially those facing disadvantage.
